We double the occasion of their visit with梁祝 club 2nd meet in 9/4/2011 with 琴师 柯亞天 (and his wife Shirely) playing 二胡 and joining the singing fun with us. 柯亞天 is Tsing-Hua 79ChemE, and he and his wife Shirely are the U of Rochester and Rochester Institute of Technology alumni with 王慶輝 and 李珠淑.
This is梁祝 club 2nd meet since Apr 2011魏哲詠 family NJ visit. When professor魏哲詠 was here last April, he volunteered the piece: (老師)：飽食終日以後呢？(文才)：飽食終日以後就不餓了。(

I am the host and the club master. I started with a test for the participants. I will sing the first phrase of a section like草橋結拜: 無兄無弟感孤單，水遠山長行路難 and expect the chosen people to continue. People complained about being too difficult without lyrics and rebel. People asked to do the reverse: they will sing the first phrase, and I was asked to complete the remaining phrases. Wangs are not well versed with 梁祝. 李珠淑slip out to use washing machine, a bit too long a delay, leaving王慶輝alone shaking his head in face of grilling. In the end, instead I sang the first four phrases of 草橋結拜for them, and all participants, with the help of lyrics book, followed. 草橋結拜 symbolized when we met at Tsing-Hua as freshmen.
It’s lots of fun. We sang through 十味藥, 遠山含笑, 草橋結拜, 十八相送之一：下山, 十八相送之三：配鴛鴦、要摘牡丹上我, 十八相送之四：呆頭鵝, 回十八之一：訪英台, 樓台會之一：口難, 樓台會之二：白玉環與蝴蝶, 樓台會之五：不能行也得.
Singing梁祝舊曲試新聲, more than just usual eat-eat-drink-drink. At this age, there’s nothing to lose trying fun things. Just our singing quality was somewhat an embarrassment and probably humiliated柯亞天’s二胡. C-level singers were supported by an A+ string player.
